If you are one of those who think the bootscreen of Windows Vista looks unattractive, then this tool will fascinate you.
Vista boot logo generator is an application that lets you customize the boot screen of the operating system, that is, changes the logo start on the Windows Vista you want.
The program simply provides two images of 24 bit, a 800x600 resolution and the other of 1024x768, both in BMP to be admitted. To do this, use any editor, it can be the Paint.
When you list your two images, open the Vista Boot Logo Generator and load the files. Next, choose File - Save Boot Screen File As, and save winload.exe.mui that the program generated.
You need to copy this file to Windows \ System32 \ en-US. Remember to make a backup of this file and takes into account that the path may be different according to the language of your installation (e.g. for Spanish is used: en-US).
Now only one thing missing. Type msconfig in the Run dialog in the Start Menu and go to the Startup tab. Remove the selection of box No GUI Boot.
And that's it. So that Windows can use the image size of 1024 × 769 will need to have a decent graphics card.
